Pita Pizza


1 pita bread (Selection 50g ~ 130 calories)

75 g cooked extra lean ground beef or lean ham

2 cup sliced/chopped peppers (any color), onions, mushrooms, pineapple

(any veggies of choice)

¼ Bella Tavola Pizza Sauce

1/3 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese (optional)


  1. Spread the pizza sauce on the pita bread
  2. Cover with desired amount of veggies and/or fruit
  3. Sprinkle low fat cheese on top
  4. Bake in the oven at 350 degree for 5-8 mins.  Toaster over can also be used.
  5. If desired broil the cheese on top to bubbly.
