IFBB Flex Pro Prep – 27 days

Hi Everyone-

With only 4 weeks left until the Flex Pro in Santa Monica, and 6 weeks until the Arnold, I have to say that I am feeling rather good right now. I feel strong and well rested. I have been resting more than in previous preps, and I believe it is making a difference.

Although I have always listened to my body, sometimes I would push to do things even though it was really tired. This prep I am feeling my way through the process, and actually listening to when I am tired. I can always recognize the feeling that yes – I need another day off, and then the next workout I am always more motivated, and stronger to train. Rest is part of your training.

Here are a few photos as of recent.

The hat is what I sport around the house from time to time, as now I am more frequently cold than a few weeks ago.  I am particularly fond of all thing in the colour, ahem shade of ‘gray’ right now.

Last week I got in 4 trainings, and 2 routine practices.   This week, just trying to tighten things up a bit more especially the back end. It is always so difficult to wait for the changes to happen, however, I still have 3+ weeks until the show.

Here is a quick video I shot for RxGirl.  Routines can be hard, but they are doable.  I really think that fitness competitors are the craziest of all the divisions.

Can you image (or think) any other athlete trying to strip off body fat while trying to peak and perform at their best?
