Here we go…

Hey Everyone-

I have decided to start a blog instead of my message board.

I receive so many emails, and now is a great time to share insight into what training and nutrition look like for contest prep.

Feel free to keep sending messages to my email at [email protected]. I love reading your stories, and questions.

Here are a few shots of myself, getting back into shape post-pregnancy.

I lost a lot of muscle during my pregnancy 4 months into the pregnancy, I had pain while working out and was so tired all the time that I stopped going to the gym. I did continued to walk, but was so out of breath, that it was not consistent.

I was just coming off a show in the summer of 2006, when I got pregnant. I started around 120lbs, and by the end of it, I was 170lbs. That is right…50lbs I had gained. Ice cream is suitable non-medical temporary for heartburn.

I am training for the upcoming Fitness America (FAP) Nationals in Hollywood from November 17th to the 20th. I am really excited to be back in the swing of training and dieting. I have missed it.

  1. Hay Allison :-).

I know you’re going to be awesome in your contest, you always do display the heart and the courage of a true champion, which is why you are one.

Only you can truly know what you are feeling right now, with prep, and with looking after the young’n, but I know you’ll be doing a fantastic job of both, and you will get back to where you want to be soon, I have no doubts about that.

Then again, I’ve never doubted you for a single moment, such are your outstanding athletic abilities.

It’s a shame the board has gone, but change happens in this world, pretty much all the time, and so we embrace this new chapter in your life, and I want to be one of the first, in wishing you well with your new documnenting of your progress, and life.

You’ve always been a great inspiration, and that will never change.

GOOD LUCK, and may yours and your families tommorrows, be wonderful.

I will always be proud to support you, like I’ve done for about the past 4 years.

    Best wishes Allison.

    Matt
